Apple Launches Free Repair for Non-Powering iPhone 6S Devices

Apple said on Friday that some iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus devices may not be powered on due to component failure, and the company is offering free repairs.

The iPhone maker said the issue affects certain device serial numbers manufactured between October 2018 and August 2019.

Apple, which launched the 6S iPhone on 2015, is still continuing to mount it in India through Wistron Corp's local unit in Bengaluru technology center.
