RIO - In less than 24 hours, the city of Rio de Janeiro recorded a 60,5% increase in the number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in the capital. In a bulletin released at 14 pm, there are now 170 notifications. In the previous bulletin, on Saturday afternoon, there were 103. There are no confirmed deaths. Of this total, 23 people are hospitalized, 12 in ICUs. There are still 175 suspected cases.
According to the updated figures, there are already 33 neighborhoods in Rio with confirmed cases. The highest concentration is in Barra da Tijuca (29), followed by Leblon (23), Ipanema (21) and São Conrado (11).
